We are currently seeking a Market Vice President to oversee teams within the Mid-Atlantic region. The Market Vice President oversees performance for all markets within the region. This role will provide strategic direction to Market Managers, and, at times, directly to the broader team, with the goal of optimizing operational efficiency and driving sustainable business growth at a healthy margin.

Working in a largely virtual environment where our culture and commitment to creating remarkable experiences come first, the Market Vice President is responsible for:  

  • Growing revenue and gross profit for multiple business lines in both retail and mid-size accounts 

  • Managing Market Managers in the respective territory to grow the business at healthy margins, while still being responsible for achieving personal production goals  

  • Identifying, hiring, developing, and retaining market teams 

  • Maintaining a strong talent pipeline for promotion and external candidates for placement in the market 

  • Executing business initiatives in alignment with directives provided by the Roth Staffing Senior Leadership team in partnership with various corporate support departments 

  • Maintaining and developing a high level of knowledge of Roth Staffing’s culture, features, benefits, strategic solutions, systems and technologies and imparts that knowledge with the team 

  • Provide directions to Market Managers and Coworkers 

  • Ensure business goals are met within each market in the region 

  • Research prospective accounts, evaluate customer needs, and create compelling proposals and product presentations 

  • Maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for key internal roles 

  • Partner with strategic sales team to explore and secure new enterprise and large-volume strategic sales opportunities 

  • Develop strategies to maximize revenue, drive profit growth, and control manageable expenditures 

  • Make recommendations and implement cost saving strategies to meet financial goals 

  • Manage, measure, and monitor team performance daily 

  • Evaluate sales team’s activities to identify successful trends and/or issues with required follow-up action 

  • Keep business line leaders informed of all business development efforts and outcomes 

 

What Do We Look For? 

  • Someone who lives in the Mid-Atlantic region for face-to-face time with both Coworkers and customers. 

  • Strong business acumen and excellent customer service mindset. 

  • 5+ years' experience is sales management, staffing finance and accounting. 

  • Strong communication with excellent problem resolution skills. 

  • Individual with stellar sales achievements. 

  • Proven track record of success leading and managing sales teams across multiple business lines and markets. 

  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills. 

  • Strong P&L/budgeting experience. 

  • Someone who is enthusiastic about creating remarkable experiences with coworkers, clients, and Ambassadors in line with our company purpose, promise and values. 

  • Someone who embraces being a part of an environment that focuses on belonging. 

  • Bachelor’s degree or transferable experience.  MBA a plus.
